Is Patti opening? Don't be too cool and miss the opener.

Yes she is. No way I will be missing the opener. I almost always get to shows early to have some beers and catch the opening act.

Glad then I didn't give too many details about the show. You're in for some great surprises.

Patti Smith was very cool too, though I admit I was slightly grossed out when she spit into the audience.

Good, I like surprises.

Lol, that's mild for a punk rocker. Just be glad you never went to a G.G. Allin show.

Yea, Jon Spencer (Jon Spencer Blues Explosion/Pussy Galore) plays with him a lot as does Handsome Dick Manitoba. Edison started in wrestling magazines and then went on to be editor in chief at Screw and then High Times, among other places. He's had some interesting moments, suffice it to say. And he's a really smart, sweet, gentleman. Truly.
